Why we can promise this when others cannot
A fixed price is only possible if the job is properly scoped before anyone arrives. That is why we quote from photos, stick to work we can scope from them, and turn down jobs we cannot price with confidence: licensed electrical, plumbing, HVAC and structural work among them.
Quoting the same business day is possible for the same reason. There is no estimate visit to schedule, so the price can come back while the job is still fresh in your mind.
Questions about the promise
What happens if the job turns out bigger than the photos showed?
We stop before doing anything that is not on your written quote, show you what we found, and quote the change in writing. Nothing is added to your invoice unless you approve it first. If you decline, we finish the original scope at the original price.
How quickly do I get my quote?
The same business day. Send photos and a short description and we reply with a fixed price, the scope written out and the name of the local company that will do the work. If the photos are not enough to price it properly, we tell you that the same day and explain what we need.
Why name the contractor on the quote?
Because you should know who is coming into your home before you agree to anything. The licensed, insured local company doing your job is on the quote and the invoice, not hidden behind a brand.
When do I pay?
You approve the finished work, with the before-and-after photos, before the balance is due.
Is there a minimum job?
Yes, $450. Below that, the cost of quoting, scheduling and documenting a job is more than the job itself, and an hourly handyman is genuinely better value. We will tell you so.
